Working On Final Episode To A 5-Part Mini-Series

It's taking me some time to figure out where to go with the Sword & Sorcery Gay Romance story. At first, I thought I would start in the middle of the story (as George Lucas did with his Star Wars epic), where the characters can tease the viewer into desiring to learn how they got where they're at. Well, it's still a good idea, but... the story is SO MUCH! I wanted to see if I could squish the actual beginning (prequel) down into a 5-part Mini-series (each part 2 hours in length.) So far it's working itself out and I'm learning how to add/change plot points as I run across certain possible problem areas. That's actually quite fun, to be honest. It's a lesson in writing on a deadline, as I've given myself until September 28th to finish the rough-draft, where the plot is ensconced, and all I'll need to do is edit it down to proper Act-length. I'm also going to finish the 5-part Mini-series for the Paranormal Gay Romance by the end of December. All of this while working a new Bromance novel idea for NaNoWriMo in November.

The writing doesn't stop, and I'm loving it! Will these two Mini-series fly with Producers? Honestly, I have no idea. It's going to take someone with vision, because I believe they will fly with audiences, but because I'm a nobody in this business, making someone else believe in them is going to take a heavy-duty and professional pitch. The good news is... I know what audience I want to target. Fine-tuning the product to reach that audience is the goal. Stay tuned for more as we move closer to submission.

Some will recognize the picture on the cover of the renamed novel. (See the Menu Tab 'Bromance Books'.) It was once titled Treasured...
